Hopefully you have detected and successfully removed other peoples’ attempts to cloud your thoughts and emotions as described in the previous chapter.
I would like to begin this chapter by presenting another actor of sorts into the mix. It has many names: collective unconscious, collective consciousness, egregore, Harari’s information networks, Jungian archetypes, Dawkins’s memes, or Bernays’ group psychology. We’ve already covered them in the challenge #2 section of the guide’s introduction. The point that all these terms are trying to make is that not all of our thoughts are really ours. They do not really belong to anyone, they just exist and evolve in their own way while people play out the ‘script’ that those ideas ‘write’. So on top of deferring attacks from people that take our energy, to be truly ourselves we also need to remove the effects of the collective thought, that thrive by making people think stereotypically.
Luckily there is a way to repel both, the influence coming from specific people and from this collective framework. We have covered active measures to repel energy vampirism in the previous chapter, but there is a way to automate this defense. There is a way to reconfigure yourself in a way that would remove this influence before you even notice it, without any active effort on your part.
We will create something like a computer firewall or an antivirus for our mind. People and things that bother you will not cause any more stress. Well, not in a magnitude that they used to, at least. It will become almost impossible to dupe you into doing something that will end up hurting you. You will never go from a passing fad to a passing fad like most of the world does. You will learn just how free your mind can get. You will rarely get sick. You will evolve. The effects of this evolutionary step cannot be overstated. No psych, no philosophy, no pep talk, just follow this relatively simple procedure and you will always have control over your mind. Once done properly, this step will be your proof that everything mentioned in these chapters is true.
Let’s begin. See the animation below that shows all of the steps, then read the step descriptions below the animation. Remember to visualize in the first person (through your eyes).
Step 0: Make sure that your whole subtle body is free from any energy damage, and resontates with the base state. Ensure that your up and down flows are nice and strong. For this exercise, you will need a lot of energy and concentration.
Step 1: Visualize an arrow or a lever that controls the direction of upflow. It should be located at the base of your skull. Aim it forward, notice how you can still sense the flow as it leaves you. You can also try to sense that outgoing flow with the palm of your hand. Direct the flow back towards your navel, creating a ‘rubber band’.
Step 2: Visualize another arrow, this one just under the navel, that controls the downflow. Aim this arrow forward, and send the flow up towards your head creating another, slightly larger rubber band.
Step 3: Imagine opening those two rubber bands around you like a Chinese lantern.
That is it!
You will only need to repeat this a few times (maybe 10-20) to shell up properly. Then your life will slowly begin to change. After your shell has been configured, make sure to check on it from time to time, especially in critical moments that require this defense.
Combine this exercise with the ones that you’ve learned earler. Here is a great routine. Do this after you wake up, before sleep, after a stressful encounter or if you feel that unwanted thoughts keep spinning around in your head:
- Enter your base state
- Strengthen your energy flows
- Inspect your subtle body for energy damage. The whole body needs to be harmonious with base state.
- Enclose the shell around yourself
In a couple of weeks or sooner you will observe an interesting phenomenon. Nothing will bother you anymore. The world will be put on mute. People will not really notice you, and at first, it will feel like you just do not belong to anything. Nothing will move you or push you towards anything. Initially you might get scared, but fear not! This is good news. It means you are no longer receiving subliminal instructions that coordinated every aspect of your life in the past. Now you have a blank page to start writing the next chapter, where only the things you want will happen. Once you get that feeling, proceed to Part II where you will learn how to program yourself for things that you truly want.
